following is a quick study involving my growing fascination with blobs (taking hints from greg lynn’s embryo-logical house of course). i create the blob surface by revolving parametrically controlled arcs about an axis for 360 degrees.
trigonometric graphs, along with multiplication factors, are used in the deforming procedure. through this method thousands of blobs can be created which are at the same time unique and genetically related (more on this later).
the next step is to automate this process, as well as to investigate the use of evolutionary algorithms as a driving method to produce future blobs
