from ages ago  - working with a friend sayjel patel - this structure is constructed of two simple components laser cut from cardboard. its remarkable lightweight to structure ratio was never calculated but it is obvious that it comes from a pure geometry.
this project stemmed from a playful exploration of creation which when fused with an analysis by sayjel v. patel combined to create something rigid and repeatable without internal stresses.
the goal i have for these sort of systems is to allow structure to be redefined by a user of architecture, whereas it has long been static and timeless.
